This is trailer shows many techniques that may inspire my final piece. .22s shows fast motion filming, with jump cuts. Jump cuts are evident when the subject (character) appears to be ‘jumping’ abruptly and quite frequently. This alters the viewers sense of time. This technique is good as it can show important events or can emphasize how something changes over time. This can be done in an interesting way because it is often used with music. .40s (shown throughout the trailer) shows letter form incorporated in film. I would be interested in including this as I enjoy typography and think it could add an original element which would add to the audiences interest. .47s weather can influence the films mood. In this shot rain is used to evoke comfort, mundaneness and sadness. 1.04 shows very talented use of natural lighting. I feel prefer natural lighting as opposed to unnatural. I find it is far more comfortable and soft.
